THEY POKED ME

Not once, not twice, but 5 TIMES! They are sadistic! Who, you ask? The people at the hospital. To start with the doctor was cool. She had a light she shined at me, but she would't let me have it. She said I was a beautiful boy. She also said I had an ear infection. I guess that would explain why my ear hurts.

Mommy made me go get shots after that. They call them immunizations and they are supposed to keep me from getting sick, but we will discuss that later. Needless to say, it hurt - a lot!

The doctor also told Mommy she wanted to run a check for lead, so we had to go see someone in the lab. He poked my arm but couldn't find the vein, so then he poked my finger and squeezed and squeezed and squeezed. It hurt - I cried.

The shots and ear infection made me hot. Really hot. Mommy and Daddy kept giving me medicine and then I got sent home from school. I haven't been back since. I like school, I want to go back. Besides, I feel all better now.
